Bags have been packed, rooms have been cleaned,  paychecks have been handed out- and it is with sad hearts that we announce the official end of the summer ministry at Camp SWONEKY.

The end of summer is always a bittersweet time as we say goodbye to camp life and as we move back into the school year. But lets be certain to not move forward so quickly that we miss the opportunity to clebrate what was accomplished this summer. Through the ministry of Camp there were hundreds of children and teens that came to know Jesus Christ as Savior! This is an incredible feat and we are so thankful for God's provision!

As we transition into the school year program the Youth Department will be taking the next few weeks to recuperate from a long summer as well as to prepare for what promises to be an exciting Labor Day Camp Meetings. 

As many of you know the Youth Department is losing three staff members this fall (Evelyn Candido, Amber Maynor, and Swetha Vincent) who will be attending the School for Officers Training in Suffern NY! We are excited for the journey of each of them and wish them the best- however, this means that the Youth Department is sure to be full of new faces this coming year. So be on the lookout at your local corps for information regarding the start of fall programs!
